Royal New Zealand Ballet presents Allegro Allegro is a powerhouse of five dynamic ballets from leading international choreographers. Produced in the style of 2012 smash hit NYC, this exciting season will be a must-see for all lovers of dance. Allegro Brilliante \'Everything I know about classical ballet in 13 minutes\' - George Balanchine Les Lutins (\'The Goblins\') In Johan Kobborg\'s new work, two male dancers compete for the attention of a single female. Things are not what they seem following the addition of a violinist and pianist to the stage. Music will be played live for all performances by Matthew Ross (violin) and Michael Pansters (piano). Satellites This new piece, specially created for the RNZB by Daniel Belton, will include electronic music, animation and kinetic sculpture. Mattress Suite Created in 2003 by Larry Keigwin, Mattress Suite is made up of six scenes about love affairs, either on or near a mattress. Megalopolis Larry Keigwin fuses Broadway, club culture and the worlds of fashion and burlesque in this piece.
