Friends of the Regent

The Friends of the Regent (Incorporated) was set up in October 1995 at a meeting of people interested in the restoration of the Regent theatre and on-going participation in its operations/activities.

The Friends provide front-of-house services (ushering and catering) for the theatre. Trained volunteers are rostered to work on shows or events as required. Funds raised from services rendered are allocated by the Friends Committee to assist with the purchase of theatre assets as requested by the Theatre management.
