Heritage Open Day

This weekend of free, open-door activities is part of the Palmerston North Heritage Week programme. In the spirit of culture and community in Palmerston North, venues are opening their doors (in particular, those normally closed or not accessible to the general public). The idea is based on the success of the European Heritage Days (started in France) held annually in September. Heritage Open Days have become a great way of encouraging communities to appreciate our rich and diverse cultural assets and their need for care and protection.
