SINATRA LIVES present by the Manawatu Standard With the centenary of Sinatra being celebrated around the world, the Regent on Broadway has engaged New Zealand\'s top musicians to pay tribute to the man who extended the boundaries of jazz and popular music. Sinatra \"Lives\" features the Rodger Fox Big Band with vocalists Ray Woolf, Grant Sullivan, Steve Carlin and Erna Ferry. The great Sinatra recordings or live shows form the basis of the tribute. These historic CDs -Sinatra-Basie, Sinatra At the Sands, Duets and The Main Event - Live - will be recreated by the celebrated Rodger Fox and four vocalists, led by the finest interpreter of Old Blue Eyes himself, Ray Woolf. In the recordings Sinatra, at the peak of his vocal prowess, sings many of his enduring hits such as Lady Is A Tramp, Come Fly With Me, You Make Me Feel So Young, Tender Trap, Strangers In the Night, Something Stupid, New York, New York, My Way and many more. These numbers, superbly arranged by Rodger Fox, will be presented by the quartet of sensational singers on the Regent stage. In addition to the tribute, a well-known compere will tell Sinatra\'s story, linking it both visually and musically with the four historic recordings. Sinatra \"Lives\" is being brought to the Regent on Broadway with the valued support of the US Embassy and Manawatu Standard. Directed by Pat Snoxell
