Programme: Bach: Sinfonia in D Major from Cantata 42 Handel: Motet in B-flat Major, Silete venti Bach: Orchestral Suite No. 2 in B Minor Handel: Concerto grosso in G Minor, op. 6, no. 6 Masaaki Suzuki (director) Cynthia Roberts (concertmaster) Students of The Julliard School. Julliard415 have established a reputation for combining youthful energy with poise, precision and a luminous sound. Since The Julliard School launched its historial performance programme in 2009, it has demanded of its graduate sutdents technical excellence and musical integrity, while giving them the chance to work with the most eminent musicians of the early music world. Masaaki Suzuki is undoubtedly one of these, hugely esteemed for his performances and recordings of Bach. J415\'s programme concentrate on Bach and Handel - the giants of the Baroque era. In addition to instrumental masterpieces they present the much loved Bach cantata \'Ich habe genug\' and Handel\'s motet \'Silete venti\'. Expect these performances to be vibrant and profound.
