The Big Sing Manawatu - Whanganui

The Big Sing (TBS), the New Zealand Choral Federation’s festival for secondary school choirs, has been held annually for over 30 years. With some 8,000 singers from around 150 schools and 250 choirs entering the regional festivals each year, it is one of New Zealand’s largest choral and school events. In 2023, the Canterbury/West Coast region is thrilled to welcome more than 24 choirs from 19 schools to participate in our event. The Gala concert will showcase 800 talented young singers from our local and regional secondary schools, singing a wide range of music. In 2023, the Manawat?-Whanganui region is thrilled to welcome 18 choirs from 11 schools to participate in our event. The Gala concert will showcase over 500 talented young singers from our local and regional secondary schools, singing a wide range of music.
